Central AA Celebrates 12th Anniversary

HAMDEN, CT, (February 27, 2018) After 36 years of experience, auto industry veteran Peter Saldamarco opened Central Auto Auction located in Hamden, CT, with the first sale being held on February 26, 2006. On Tuesday, February 27, 2018, the team at Central Auto Auction hosted the much-anticipated 12-year anniversary sale.

The celebration was also a chance to share in the excitement of the opening of a brand-new 4th lane planned for later this year! The aggressively advertised and highly anticipated anniversary sale brought in 366 buyers, and offered nearly 450 units across three action-packed lanes. Attendees enjoyed complimentary pizza catered by The New Haven Pizza Truck. A self-proclaimed pizza connoisseur, Saldamarco said, “We played up the pizza when we promoted the sale. New Haven is the pizza capital of the world, so we try to take advantage of that!” And it turns out, New Haven, CT was indeed named the best pizza in America! Google it! Saldamarco believes quality overshadows quantity. This philosophy is evident not only in the quality of the vehicles offered, but in the integrity with which the staff at Central Auto Auction operates.

“We are very much hands on with our consignors and buyers.
